When I think "werewolf" many images come to mind. Mostly I think of man-sized wolves. When I think of "The Wolfman", it's different. It's a specific werewolf, much like thinking of Dracula compared to a miscellaneous vampire. One of the aspects worth praising with this film is that it evolves the look of the Wolfman, but retains the overtly "man" facial structure of the original design.

There are many ways to interpret creature designs, but vampires shouldn't sparkle.
Current score: 0 (to vote for this comment, please visit the site)

I've been wondering, what do you think about the monster design when compared to popular culture? I ask because it seems every movie has their own idead about how werewolves should look like: sometimes as big wolves, sometimes as hibrid human-wolf creature, others like men with wolf heads... No one seems to set a standard. Nice review, will keep reading. Thank you.
Current score: 0 (to vote for this comment, please visit the site)
