Freddy Got Fingered

I have XM and am a Huge fan of Opie and Anthony XM202. Recently they had Tom Green on. He talked about how this particular movie is rated as one of the worst movies of all time. However it has sold a lot of DVDs.

How can a movie that was rated so low become such a cult classic?

Though I haven’t seen the movie. I recall from my days working in a video store one specific element of the DVD—it had scores of negative reviews all over it. It embraces its criticism and I think that’s made it somewhat memorable.
